MUDIX Ultimate Portable Outdoor Projector with detachable magnetic battery unveiled

MUDIX has announced The Ultimate Portable Outdoor Projector, which will soon begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The projector is described as providing a large HD picture, though the native resolution and maximum recommended image size are not included on the pre-launch campaign page.

The projector has a removable battery, attached via magnets, which lets you play music or movies for up to 4.5 hours. The swappable nature of the battery also allows you to increase the playback time on the go. Alternatively, you could power the device via a DC charger. The company claims you can set up the projector in three minutes and could offer an "Outdoor Combo" kit with the projector, screen and stand. The device has wireless connectivity, with support for Wi-Fi; it is unclear if Bluetooth is also supported. Ports on the projector include HDMI 1.4, USB-C, USB-A and AUX.

MUDIX describes the gadget as portable and palm-sized, though the exact measurements have yet to be provided. A built-in handle makes the device easier to transport, and integrated speakers reduce the kit needed to create an outdoor cinema experience. The pledge levels for the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the MUDIX Portable Outdoor Projector have not been given. However, the campaign page notes that the lowest level will offer a 34% discount on the MSRP.
